This time I brought you a deliciously refreshing drink from Mexico as we all know that the Mexican cuisine is a bit spicy and this thirst-quenching drink is perfect to go with, as they call it “agua fresca” literally means fresh water or sometimes “Agua de Fruta” means “fruit water”.
The Aguas Frescas are an excellent cooling and light non-alcoholic drinks to complement your picnic menu, especially the barbecue, or at the beach, and they are so amazing for re-hydration after a hard work-out.
The Aguas can be made from different kinds of fruits such as Gava, Kiwi, Pineapple, Tamarind… Agua de Sandia is another Agua fresca (literally means watermelon water)… my favourite drink! Using the sweet inner of watermelon and a squeeze of lemon, and Sugar if you want to sweeten it up a little!. You can try this refreshing LIME JUICE.
Here is the detailed recipe and I’m sure if you will try it, you’ll be hooked!
